PBIS

We are a PAX school. The PAX Good Behavior Game (PAX GBG) is a set of strategies that help support the social-emotional learning of students. In it, students determine what they want to see, feel, hear, and do both more of - PAX behaviors - and less of - spleems - in their classrooms to create a community in which they feel safe, supported, and able to persevere in their learning.

Students are also taught and recognized for displaying the "7 Habits of Happy Kids". They can earn a Warrior Black & Gold, Leader of the Month, and quarterly awards. These 7 Habits are part of the Leader in Me program.

At least three times a day, students also practice "Calm Classroom". These mindfullness based techniques can be and are encouraged to be used by students throughout the school day.
