Principal's Message

Welcome to Watkins Intermediate School!

At Watkins Intermediate, we are proud to serve all 4th and 5th grade students in the Southwest Licking School District. As a bridge between elementary and middle school, our mission is to continue building strong foundational skills while also fostering critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving experiences. Our students are encouraged to be leaders through the PAX framework, taking ownership of their learning and behavior both inside and outside the classroom.

Opened in January 2021, our state-of-the-art facility offers modern learning environments and cutting-edge technology. We are grateful for the investment our district has made in our school and remain committed to using these resources to support innovative, 21st-century learning.

It is a privilege to lead such a dedicated team of educators and work alongside families and community members in supporting our students’ success. As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child, and we value the partnership we share with each of you.
