Principal's Message

Welcome to Watkins Intermediate School!

We have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on all of the 4th and 5th graders in Southwest Licking Schools. As we bridge the elementary and middle school years, our staff is dedicated to continue to build core foundational skills while providing critical thinking and real-world problem solving experiences. Students will be PAX leaders in and out of the classroom, taking ownershiping in their learning. 

Our building was opened in January of 2021, so the Southwest Licking School District has provided us with an amazing new building, new learning spaces and new technology. We do not take this newness for granted, as we will continue to maximize the 21st century learning opportunties that we are given. I look forward to leading a fantastic staff and eager young minds this upcoming school year. Raising a child takes a village, so I highly encourage all of our Watkins Intermediate families and the community to be active participants in these childrens' lives.
